Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)
Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), a flagship scheme of the Government of India,
was launched on 23rd September 2018 to provide free and cashless healthcare services to economically
vulnerable families.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive health insurance coverage of up to
₹5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization.
In Uttar Pradesh, PM-JAY is being implemented to ensure accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare
services for eligible households. The scheme covers over 10.74 crore families
