Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rajya Karmchari Cashless Chikitsa Yojana

The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rajya Karmchari Cashless Chikitsa Yojana has been implemented by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to provide cashless healthcare services to State Government employees, retired employees, and their dependent family members.

The scheme operates under the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Government Servant (Medical Attendance) Rules, 2011, as amended in 2014, 2016, and 2021. The definition of “Government Servant” is available in the relevant Government Orders (GO) and official guidelines.

As per the Government Order dated 07 January 2022, eligible beneficiaries are entitled to avail cashless medical treatment at all hospitals empanelled under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), including both government and private healthcare institutions.

Under the scheme, cashless treatment of up to ₹5 lakh per family per year is available in empanelled private hospitals. Free treatment up to ₹5 lakh will be provided, and any extra cost will be covered as before. In government medical colleges, institutions, and hospitals across Uttar Pradesh, treatment is provided without any financial limit, ensuring comprehensive healthcare support.
